RELATIONSHIP THERAPY FOR COUPLES AND INDIVIDUALS IN VIRGINIA AND WASHINGTON, DC
Your best relationship starts here.
Guiding you to true connection and enduring love.
You are successful at just about everything else you do,
but not so much in your love relationships.
Whether you are an individual or a couple, at this point you realize that you need to focus on this important part of your life and delve deeper if you want to succeed in love like you’ve succeeded at work and friendships.
You want a relationship where you can exhale. A place where you can let down your guard, feel truly seen, and be loved for who you are—not just for what you accomplish. And be open and safe enough to give the love you have inside.
What you have right now just isn’t that relationship.
You have a feeling that in order to create the kind of intimacy and connection you desire, you (and your partner if you are in a couple) need to a therapist who can help you get below the surface of patterns that appear to be the problem. A therapist strong and skilled enough to understand what’s going on and help you change it.
Therapy for Couples
Therapy for Individuals
I’m Susan Saint-Rossy, the relationship therapist
Psychotherapist and devotee of the mysteries of the human heart.
I work with couples who desire to build a safe and secure committed relationship, no matter how shattered their hearts feel in this moment.
With individuals, my work goes deep, guiding clients to examine old patterns and fears so they can build real, lasting connections without losing themselves in the process.
I love helping people with the messy, complicated work of untangling their relationship stories — the communication problems, thought patterns, unconscious beliefs, and destructive behaviors that keep people from fully loving and accepting love.
If that’s what you want, I’m ready for you.

Getting started in relationship therapy is simple.
1. Schedule a free video consultation.
I have found it works best for me to meet briefly with you so we can determine if we are a good fit for each other. The 15-minute meeting give you a chance to experience being with me, ask any questions you have, and tell me a bit about why you reached out to me.
At the end of the consultation, you can either schedule your first session or go away and think about it. If you decide it makes sense to work together, you can contact me to schedule our initial session.
2. Before the video consultation, fill out the pre-consultation questionnaire.
This gives us a head-start because. you’ve already told me a bit about your situation and why you want to be in therapy with me before we meet.
3. Invest in your relationship and show up for the work.
Once you decide it’s important enough to you to do the work, we’ll have a long session to explore the your history and start working to make improvements. Then we’ll work together weekly or less often if need be. I’ll be your teacher, your coach, and your therapist, beside you all the way as you learn how to create a relationship that is thriving.
4. Dive deep with me and create lasting change.
How long you will be in therapy depends on your goals. Some stay a few months and feel satisfied with what they have learned and how they have changed. Others settle in for some deep, longer therapeutic work to gain a profound understanding of who they are, what they want in a relationship, and how they can change to achieve what they want.
You get to choose.
